If a servant sincerely makes effort, success is provided to him by Allah. Sincerity is proven through the humbleness of the servant. After accomplishing good deeds he does Istegfar – seeks forgiveness to Allah.
There is no provision for anyone to become boastful of good deeds. Being boastful and haughty after completing good deed is NOT a sign of worship. We must always bear in mind – Allah Taala is so Merciful that He even opens way to pardon the most sinful slave, whomever He wants to. On the other hand, a pious could be reprimanded for any petty wrongdoing, which Allah Taala considers serious. He is Hakeem – All Wise. Allah Taala doesn’t do any Zulm on any of His servants.
As a servant, everyone of us must obey Allah Taala, fear Him and yearn hope of His Mercy and Forgivenss. A sinner should do Tawba and a pious should always watch out his deeds – do Istegfar. The latter mustn’t become complacent at all, because he doesn’t know, for any reason, which of his tasks ‘had not been liked’ by Allah Taala, though it was outwardly good. May be there was problem with intention or there was some other problem. Moreover, how profuse and abundant be our good deed, we can NEVER fulfill the commandments of Allah Taala correctly. Ibadat could not be performed according to the Exalted Rank of Allah Taala; it is never possible for us. Even Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam used to say (Meaning), O Allah, I couldn’t perform Your Ibadat uprightly, I couldn’t recognize You uprightly. It is a matter of serious thought. We cannot even imagine the way our Beloved Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam performed Ibadat and his love and proximity with Allah! How then could we, his Ummah, being so much sinful, easily become so much satisfied with our Ibadat?
Ramadan is an opportunity to think on such matters deeply. Ramadan is a chance to create zeal, care and obedience in worship – elevate our relation with Allah. Missing Ramadan’s opportunity would be very unfortunate. More than half of the Holy Month is already gone! Now is the moment to see, check, remorse and make plenty of Istegfar and Dua. Allah Taala can change His slave’s whole life. A slave who is repentant sincerely could gain magnanimously. Allah Taala has given a long duration to seek forgiveness and return to Him. Every man is bound to return to Him after death, but the question is the final state and condition of his deeds. This worldly life is the given time by Allah Taala. Within this limited life, our calculations has to be done: Do I want the trivial and temporary benefits of this world or do I choose for myself the eternal success of afterlife?
Let this Ramadan’s rest of the days be the pledge to gain the Pleasure of Allah.
Gain, benefit, win – whatever we call it, is finally ours. On the other hand, if you’re not gaining and winning, the loss is also ours. May Allah Taala provide the right understanding to us!
The Holy Night of Qadr is approaching. This is the night of Quran Revelation. Just one night’s worship equals more than thousand nights. Allah Taala has gifted this Ummah with a such great Blessing like Shabe Qadr. Every Muslim should value and care it heartily. Authentic narration indicates that the Shabe Qadr is in the last ten nights; stress is on the odd ones. Let us seriously adorn every night with great care. Allah Taala looks into the heart of a believer. If we sincerely try, Allah Taala’s Forgiveness could be achieved!
