From Quran, Hadith and the life of pious predecessors, the following have been instructed to do in the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak: Fast with care, refrain from sins much more seriously, increase good deeds (including nafl or voluntary deeds), pay special attention to Quran Tilawat (i.e. recite the Holy Quran in abundance), say Tarawih prayers, do
